Which graphics card would be better?

I've just watched the RT video from Siggraph on CGArchitect and was left wondering about graphics cards.

I am currently looking to obtain a new workstation and was looking at including it with an nvidea FX 3800 with 1GB Ram. However, after watching the video was wondering if two 480 GTX cards would be better.

Does anyone have any comparson's on this? Bascially, which would be faster?

Or would the ATI Radeon HD 5970 with 2GB Ram be better

I didn't remember where i readed it in the forum, but I think remember that Vlado said that Ati still haven't a decent support for OpenCL (And I ask myself, what has been doing Ati this last year!, appears they want the gamer market, and permit this piece of cake escape!. Maybe this is the reason for Nvidia Fermi delays, and now it starting to give its fruits).
