i'm rendering animation with RTGPU since you can choose VrayRT as production engine.
it's working great and i use it most often than vray adv to render photorealistic animation to not having to take time in tweaking parameters to kill flickering GI .

      Hi Guillaume,

I can't seem to find any info on how to run an animation using CPU or the GPU RT engine. Would you like to share your secrets?

      Cheers

1 - assign Vray RT as production render.
2 - be sure to haven't select a single frame to render
3- choose a saving file like always.

        4- Choose CPU or GPU
5- Setup Max paths per pixel to have the same quality on all frames of your animation

        then click render .

Forgot to mention I'm using Maya 2012 on Mac OS. I tried animating a very simple scene (primitives) but with no luck. When I start the IPR it just renders the 1st frame only and never progress to the next frame.

Ah, Maya is different. You have two options, either export your scene to a .vrscene file format and render it with the V-Ray Standalone (which will also give you the ability to do motion blur with V-Ray RT), or use the script by Dave Girard here: http://polygonspixelsandpaint.tumblr...ost/6388153858

            Best regards,

                Hi,
is there any possibility to render animations including motion blur with vray RT for 3DSMax ?

                cheers Michael
                Best regards

You can export the scene with the .vrscene animation exporter (right-click in the viewport you want to export and select .vrscene animation exporter) and then you can render with V-Ray Standalone.

Does this include moblur for RT GPU? or is this just CPU RT.
