Is RT different in software packages

Would Vray RT be slower/quicker in say Maya that it is in Max because of interface differences and controls etc. Or would they be exactly the same?

One for Vlado obviously but if I might hazard a guess... As I understand it RT actually creates a file to be rendered by Vray Stand-Alone (a completely separate app from Max, Maya, or anything else) and that file goes straight to the GPUs for rendering. So I'd guess that the rendering speed is going to be pretty dang close if not identicle. I can't see how the UI might slow anything down as working with it is pretty instantaneous.
