Running V-Ray RT on a CPU and GPU with OpenCL

I get better results with the CPU engine rather than Open CL or CUDA, is this normal ?

It depends on the CPU, and then again on the GPU - what are the hardware specifications? Also, on the V-Ray version? Are you sure the code runs on the GPU?

I can't get an AMD working with GPU either?? It just crashes
AMD Radeon HD 7900 series
Driver version 12.6

Also I just tried CUDA and it works OK....how is that possible with an AMD card????? ...is CUDA actually using the CPU & not the GPU when you have an AMD card?? or does CUDA work on AMD cards??

Im pretty sure if GPU fail to start CPU takes over the task.
