  • Object Visibility under GPU based V Ray RT

    Hi everyone,
I've been experimenting with V Ray RT 3 on the GPU for the potential use in one of my current projects. I want to animate objects in the scene unhidden using the object visibility control under the objects properties menu. This all works fine when using the cpu under V Ray RT but not the GPU. Under the GPU the object are always visible no mater what value the visibility is set to. Is this an known issue with GPU based rendering and is there a work around?
    Thanks

Visibility properties from Object Property window are taken into account even in RT GPU.
Would it be possible to send us simplified version of your scene for investigation?
Please let us also know what versions of Vray and 3DSMax you are using.

      Hi Svetlozar,

Thank you for your reply. I've attached the simplified scene that I'd like to render under vray rt GPU. I'm using 3.00.0.5 under 3ds max 2014.

Thank you very much for the file - I can confirm that Visibility property is not taken into account from RT GPU.
I already reported this issue into our system and I'll let you know when we have updates on that matter.
