Laubwerk Plants Kits rendered with VRay RT CPU and GPU

title says all. Is there a way, how to render Laubwerk Plants Kits (over Forest Pack) in RT?

We will have to look into that; I haven't worked with the Laubwerk plants to be honest.

Isnt bad. To be honest, models are good, but I always modify shaders to be much better then they are. And its working great along with their player or with Forest Pack. Laubwerk even install library for forest, which is great.

But when render with RT, it shows only low poly box mesh instead of final trees.

That could easily kill max before even rendering, specially with a forest or a masterplan with 300 trees like we deal with every day

than display them as boxes in max. that does not matter, just laubwerk native display mode makes them invisible for RT.

I see what you mean but then you loose any viewport feedback of your tree placement. Just make sure to make a coffee break when you click on the button to make the display as mesh as you could load 300 millions polys in your scene in one click

select to see boxed objects. selection sets or split them on a few layers. how bad do you want to render them with gpu?
