GPU performance under Windows 10

Hello all!

i ve read yesterday that Windows 10 is automatically reserving a big chunk of VRAM from the GPU so if you have in 6GB VRAM, it might only allow you to use 4GB for RT.

it seems to me this is about right because when working with RT, Windows interface gets clunky.

Thjis is fine as i dont need to touch it when its rendergin final but i dont want Windows to be using so much of the resource thats quite stupid.

Is there some way how to set the VRAM size win10 is actually using???

and apparently the more VRAM you have the more Win 10 will reserve.

Can you imagine byuing the new Pascal card only to find out the systém is using a third of the ram resourse???

Crazy...

i ve been reading Facebook page of FStorm guys to see what theyre cooking and its been discussed there.
And aparently the Octane guys raised this issue with Microsoft already??? (thats what theyre saying there)

Well, maybe but I'm not sure what to change to tweak the GPU usage of win 10

i am waitgin for the actualisation around 13th of august and then i ll decide if we revert back to win7 or not.
its strange that some users have these issues and some are able to tweak this in BIOS.
