    Just wondering if this is coming soon or maybe in the nightlies already?

    It's not there yet; it will take a bit more time to figure it out. In the meantime you could probably bake it into a regular texture.

          It's planned for the next update but don't take it as a promise

            Any update to this? We've got a lot of models which rely on VRayDistanceTex to get the accuracy we need and it's one of the more significant barriers to jumping to GPU rendering.

                I have read in the documentation that now it is implemented, but it is not working for me. can I send you an scene to check?

                    Thank you for the scene. It looks like the issue you are experiencing, is related to Composite map, which in V-Ray GPU is limited to six layers only and one of your shaders (asfalto.distance) has VRayDistanceTex used as a mask for the seventh layer of the Composite map. If you link VRayDistanceTex to the sixth layer, it will work.
