Hello all,
System info below :
Vray Next 4.02.04 (for 20016 & 2018 )
3ds max 2016 & 2018
Windows 10 , 64
no other plugins used
1080Ti (3)
Ryzen 1950x
Using scene originally made in 3ds max 2016 & Vray 3.60.04
Have been facing the following issue.
For single frame rendering, the process would start and when completing light cache and moving to rendering of the image there would be error 700 and other highlighted warnings. --- " There is no device supporting at least Cuda 2.0"
See screenshot 1.
Once there was also an error mentioning Environment Variable Cuda something , unfortunately i did not manage to get a screenshot of it.
To solve the issue we tried multiple things : Vray_gpu_Device_select to select all gpus , tried multiple nvidia drivers 378.78 - 391.xx - 388.71 - 398.11 - 398.18 [ all uninstalling procedures run with DDU ], tried to use only one Gpu in the render both by deselecting all the other ones but also by physically removing the extra 2 from the motherboard.
The error persisted - finally we were able to render single image by disabling displacement option in the render setup.
So we have to adjust something on our displacement settings i guess since the scene comes from vray 3.6.
Now, trying to render a sequence from that scene without displacement results in other error. The first frame is being rendered and outputted properly but when the renderer starts working on the 2nd frame the process is aborted.
See screenshot 2.
We were also trying to track down nightly version of Vray Next but haven't heard from the support helpdesk yet. Is there some way we can get access to that?
Just to mention that the exact hardware setup was tested for multiple days in the same scene with Vray Next Beta and was working great.
Edit** Also tried now with a totally different scene and the same problem with the render sequence occurs.
Any help will be greatly appreciated =/
Thank you in advance
