When using on-demand mip-mapping, which is on by default, it seems to choose a rather lowres version of the texture and definitely not the right one for high-resolution renderings. This might be sufficient for animations, but not for print purposes. Do I have to disable it by default or how can I use a higher resolution version of the texture. Do I have to live with the selection the renderer makes or switch it off or can I somehow control what version is used?
