The two engines use different algorithms and their goal is not to match 1:1.
If you want the same result on CPU as on the GPU, enable the C++/CPU device from the V-Ray GPU device list.
Of course it can be a bug, but we can't really say without the scene as it can be caused by so many different things - different max depth clamps, different max ray intensity clamp, different GI engine, different GI settings, different light settings, etc.
i had to rebuild the scene in the office... and now now diffrence
think i had some hair sampler nodes flying around in the old scene, maybe that caused the issue.
nothing to see all is fine. sorry.

I made a few tests and it could be noticed slight difference indeed between CPU and GPU, but the results cannot be compared with your screenshots form the first post. These differences are acceptable.
If you notice any unusual results in the future, let us know so we could have a look.
