  • Vray Next GPU render does not start up.

The new viewport IPR is great. But after using it for some time in the same scene. opening and closing multiple times.
I close the viewport GPU and try to render normally with gpu. Some times GPU's start not responding.

    V-ray Log says
    ===============================
Tiled texture cache set to 4000 MB
Auto-start on file load not supported by V-Ray GPU
    0 errors, 0 warnings,

Any ideas? What does "auto-start on file load" could mean

    Hello,

That is very strange - do you get it often ? Can you share a scene and some steps to reproduce it ?
Generally the message "Auto-start on file load not supported by V-Ray GPU" is intended for cases where Max is started with specific command line parameters to render a scene or some script tries to load a scene and render it immediately. You shouldn't see this message in regular use - probably there is some issue there..

    Best regards,

      Hi Yavor,

Sorry for late response. I used to have it often then I updated with a newer nightly build. Nowadays I do not have it.

There is no specific command line parameters that I use.
My only presumption would be turning on and off the IPR both VFB ipr or viewport IPR very rapidly in some cases while I work.

But seems like I do not have it anymore
      Thanks!

          Hi,

I just start to get this issues again.

This was just after setting the scene and trying to render IPR

Vray Version Nightly: Vray Next, update 1.1 (4.10.02.2882)
          i7 Windows 10, 4x GTX 1070 using 3 of them for IPR
Restarting 3dsmax helps. Then IPR works again.

Here is the bit that shows in the log

[2019/Jan/30|05:12:05] warning: Low GPU thread priority enabled, rendering performance might be reduced.
