  • Flythrough lightcache mode problem

Is this supposed to work correctly with GPU?

I did a light-cache animation last night with the GPU in fly-through mode, but it only rendered the outside correctly on the first frame.

You can see all subsequent frames are different... (I only include two extra frames).

But notice the dark patch seems to move as a block - you can see in the 57th frame the dark block that represents darker outside areas slides along with the camera move.

i am hoping you can diagnose this from noticing an existing problem, as the file is rather large with all the proxies etc. and I prefer to ask this way first.

Fly-through mode is not working very well with adaptive lights. Just use it in single frame mode with the recommended settings for animation (Retrace = 8 and higher subdivs count)
If it was that easy, it would have already been done
