  • Backburner and distributed rendering

    Hi!

    I have vray 3.60.04 3dsmax 2017
I decided to use vray rt for rendering.
There are 2 render nodes and 1 workstation.
i'm trying to send renders to nodes via backburner.

I selected distributed rendering, added servers.
Render node which backburner running starts the job but distributed rendering doesn't start.

I've tested distributed rendering from workstation and everything is fine.

    Please help.

    Hi,

I assume you have set the distributed render settings on your workstation.
The settings are saved to a file which you have to transfer manually when using backburner. You have to copy the following file from your workstation to the node, that is distributing the render.
C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2018- 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\vrayrt_dr.cfg. Copy the file to the exactly same location on the node.
