Thanks for the report. This is a known issue, which our developers are informed about and it is on their to-do lists. I'll bump its priority additionally.

Looks like that there is a same limitation on V-Ray 5 GPU.

disappointing to see this bug persisting, especially with the higher pricing.

For those with access, V-Ray Sun disc would be visible starting with tomorrow's nightly.
After some more testing, we will enable it in the stable nightlies as well.

I am also very interested in this. And also the "affect specular" checkbox which doesn't work on Vray GPU. Thanks

gaara the nightmare Read the post from a7az0th above.
flaviuscristea Yes, direct lights' affect diffuse and affect specular parameters are not yet supported in V-Ray GPU. We already have an improvement request logged (internal bug-tracker id: VGPU-399, which I'll bump additionally.

                        Hi,
hermit.crab yes I've already read the comment of a7az0th and the sun visibility is still not working in GPU on vray_adv_50006_max2020_x64_30361.
                        Did I miss something ?

                        Thanks

gaara the nightmare What a7az0th meant was the nightly nightlies. There should be a stable build available for both 3ds Max and Maya from today where the sun is visible (the horizon blend is yet to be implemented).
