Hello! I saw a couple of threads on these boards describing this error - but none showed a solution that applied to my problem.
I have a simple set of geometry where we are using UDIM mapped textures.
When rendering the scene via CPU everything is fine.
Once we switch to GPU rendering we are seeing the CUDA error 700 and the render aborts. To render again the artist has to restart 3ds Max.
Please note: the CUDA 700 does not always happen at the first render. Usually it happens after 2-3 tries using the GPU render (bucket).
I am uploaded the archived scene including the textures here if this helps debugging:
https://www47.zippyshare.com/v/i2raQTGV/file.html
Software/System:
3ds Max 2020, V-Ray GPU Next, update 2.1, no plugins
Windows Server 2016 v10.0.14393 Build 14393
1 x NVIDIA Tesla P4 GPU w/ 8 GB GPU memory (Driver 26.21.14.3102)
12 core Xeon 2.2 GHz
We also tried a different configuration/drivers (RTX 2060 and GTX1080) with the same results.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
