Just playing around with my new amd epyc and i have to say i'm pretty impressed with the performance.
I added it to my renderfarm as a renderslave without any gpu's (right now).
As i'm working on a workstation with some gpu power i tried the hybrid renderign mode for rendering a sequence to uitilize also the amd epyc cpu.
I have to mention i have some other renderservers (intel based) without gpu's.
When i start the renderjob all the intel based servers start thr renderprocess whereas the amd cpu starts 3ds max but then crashes at the light cache stage.
Hm? Leads me to the question if there's something exceptional with the amd system? Just my first thought could be totally wrong though
