I have a texture with some text on it which I am mapping onto a cylinder. For some reason when using 3dmapping it just won't show and displacement. When using subdivision it displaces fine but I have jagged edges on my displaced text. I already blurred the text which worked for a previous model but not for this new one for some reason.

Is 3d mapping displacement not supported on GPU?

It should work. Better send a simple scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we can take a look. Regarding the jaggedness, you can reduce it by decreasing the Edge length parameter (at the cost of compiling time and more memory utilization).Last edited by hermit.crab; 11-02-2020, 02:19 AM.
