Forest Pack Pro 6.2.4 & Vray GPU 4.30.01 Edge Mode issues

3dsmax 2019 - Vray GPU 4.30.01 - Forest Pro 6.2.4 Rendering is really quick but unfortunately edge mode is not working is there a timeline for when we could expect a fix or a workaround to mitigate the issue?

Thanks for the report. Edge mode is currently not supported in V-Ray GPU. I've logged an issue (internal bug-tracker id: VGPU-4715) for developer investigation.

Thank you Aleksandar I am going to try and come up with a work around in the meanwhile and if I am successful I will post my method.

To get around this you have some options. You can either use single blades on all of the area, which I found works really well for 'neat' lawns. Or you can use clumps for the majority and blend them with a strip for edges using singles.

Working more and more with housing and grass areas I really could need edge mode working on gpu, getting abit harsh with workarounds.

Same with VRay5 Hotfix2, Max 2921.3 Forest Pack 6.3.1 and rendering with CPU - sorry, it was complex geometry, I made a test with a spline and that worked.....
