  • Auto Exposure > Transfer to camera(s) changing ISO settings incorrectly?

    Hello,

    V-Ray Next, update 3.2 (4.30.02), 3ds Max 2020 (22.0)

I am wondering if this behavior of the 'Transfer to camera(s)' button is correct.

    - render a frame with Auto Exposure/Auto white balance turned ON
    - click the Transfer to camera(s) button - which will set the cameras' ISO
    - then I render again, and click the transfer button again
    - the ISO number is lowered
    - I can now continue to click the Transfer to camera(s) button, and each time the ISO will be less than before until it's 0

    Is that the correct behavior?

Thanks for the report. I am able to reproduce the behavior - it seems it duplicates the values on "Transfer to camera(s)" button click (depending on the adjustment, lowering or increasing the ISO, it either reaches 0 or goes to extreme values). The issue seems to be fixed in the latest V-Ray for 3ds Max stable builds, so download and update.
