  • GPU IPR extremely different from render

    Hi, i'm having some drastic issues here in V-ray 5. The GPU IPR is drastically different than the final render. Is there something that I'm missing here?

    I think it has something to do with the light cache, because the problem goes away when switched to BF.

      Yes, this is sadly to be expected, as IPR does not use LightCache and LightCache is calculated with a huge amount of light bounces, which sometimes (apparently your case is one of these) the scene rendered with LightCache is much brighter.
      We're working on making the LightCache available in IPR as well, but that would come with a subsequent release
