Export problem for 'Scene settings' (Vrscenes rendered with V-Ray 5 Standalone will only output files without a preview buffer)
Hello. So when I use the frame buffer to modify the exposure and other setting, Vray standalone won't use those settings? Is there a way to switch to a frame buffer it supports? I'd like to see what it'll look like before rendering with the standalone version. Is there a recommended workflow? Thanks!
The buffer will use the settings such as exposure and others in V-Ray Standalone too. To see the results you'll need to save the output to some image file and look in it.
Hello. So Vray standalone supports the new frame buffer settings from Max? The error isn't real then? I can add an exposure layer in the frame buffer, and the standalone version will accept it?
Yes V-Ray standalone supports the new frame buffer settings. The error only tells that there will be no buffer to display the rendering - so you will need to open the saved image after the rendering.
