Error during V-Ray GPU initialization in stage 2!

We are currently evaluating V-Ray 5 coming from V-Ray 3 however one of my co-workers is having an issue in one of our scenes when using GPU IPR, it will throw this error:

error: Error during V-Ray GPU initialization in stage 2!

And when this happens he says he can't render until he restarts max. He can however render normally as long as he doesn't use IPR.

When that happens V-Ray will generate a crash dump in the temp folder (%temp% in windows explorer) - Please do send us the VRay.dmp file and mention the exact V-Ray version you are using. It would be very helpful if you could also forward us the scene.
