  • V-Ray Light Lister floating window doesn't show up

    Hi there!

I've been having this problem for the past week. I need to adjust several lights at the same time and to do that I need to access the V-Ray Light Lister. When I try to access it through Tools>V-Ray Light Lister the box is checked, but the window is nowhere to be seen. I'm using a two monitor setup, but I just can't find the floating window.

What can I do to solve this?

I'm using 3ds Max 2021.2 and the the latest stable nightly for Vray (in order to use live link with Lavina)

Check if the window is off-screen and use this manual moving method:
    1. Make sure the window is open and active (click on the light-lister icon).
    2. Press Alt+Space > press M > press an arrow key (this should lock the window to your mouse)
    3. Move the mouse to bring the window in view.

When I press Alt+Space at the same time, a window in the left upper corner appears that says minimize, restore and close. Move and maximize are greyed out...

Seems you've shown 3ds Max's window controls. Make sure the Light Lister is the active window before doing the key combinations by clicking on the light-lister icon. Possibly nothing will happen on screen, but it will work.

I'll try it as soon as I can and update. Thank you.
