Error code : 7801 - Failed to initialize OptiX

Hi!

I'm not a V-ray expert so this could be a really simple problem, but I wasn't able to find any solutions so far.

I´ve been trying to render a scene on SketchUp with a GPU Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1050 but everytime I start rendering the following message shows:

Failed to initialize OptiX (check your driver version. OptiX requires NVidia driver 456.71 or later)! Error Code : 7801

[VUtils::VOptix::ContextImpl::init] 7801: OptiX failed to initialize. Error code : 7801

initDevices() failed. Please check that your system has compatible GPU devices installed.

Could not initialize the GPU for rendering!

I have updated the Nvidia drivers and nothing has changed. Anyone knows what I could do to solve this?

Hi isabela_silveira,

This error usually occurs when an outdated GPU driver is used, the current recommended driver version is 461.09. You mentioned you've already tried updating, can you let me know the exact driver version currently used? Try with the latest recommended one and see if that helps.
