DR GPU Rendering with Next

How do I get DR going with GPU in VRay Next?

I've already set which GPU to use per slave via the "vray_gpu_device_select.exe".

Animation, per frame by frame with BB works fine
DR with Advanced CPU works fine
DR with GPU I'm unable to connect to host

The docs seem to suggest there's suppose to be a GPU Spawner (the 5 docs), but I dont see that anywhere in Next, only the regular spawner

Should I be using the "vraystdspawner.exe"?

I have similar issues with DR GPU in VRay 5....usually I get an error that Host is not responding, but even without the error it often does not utilize slaves.

Sometimes the slave appear for 3 seconds and suddenly drops.

I believe it is somehow correlated to slave's GPU memory being full and instead of giving any error it just not connecting. Although, this morning I left only second, idling GPU active in "Select devices for GPU rendering" and it still wasn't picked by my machine.

I also can't get the CPU on the slaves to be utilized in CUDA mode.

We're just testing it in general on a super simple teapot scene, and local machine excluded from the render (included makes no difference)

GPU DR jobs are not picked up at all (in Next)

Having re-read the docs, then yes, seems I should run the "vraystdspawner.exe" instead for GPU DR jobs on the slaves
"C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\3ds Max ####\bin\vraystdspawner.exe"

So NOT the regular spawner2021 which you use for typical CPU jobs.......
