bump not visible

Is there a box to enable bump maps?
On a live link I am not seeing them...well, the same noise works in the diffuse channel but nothing happens in the bump.

The Bump mapping checkbox and its multiplier is located in the Render tab on the left side of the Vantage UI. Note that it does not work with procedural textures, only bitmaps. Render the noise map and use it through a VRayBitmap node to make it work.
