  • Matte objects - Surface properties related to GI don't work with GPU

    Hi,

I've noticed that matte objects don't receive GI when I use the GPU renderer. Is this normal? The help pages don't seem to state that the GI settings in the Vray object properties or the VrayMtlWrapper are not supported by the GPU renderer, so I assume it's a bug? Please see below some screenshots. CPU renders the GI on the matte object fine as can be seen from the gold tinted shadows. GPU renders the shadow completely grey.

Ok, scratch that. I just saw in GPU supported features page that the GI feature is not supported. I was looking in the VrayMtlWrapper page at first. Maybe it will be a good idea if a snippet is added there too warning about GPU not supporting this feature?
