  • Problem rendering with GPU or CUDA

    V-ray 5, 1.5 for Sketchup 2020
I don't really understand what the problem is, In certain models when rendering with GPU or CUDA the process stops and the VFB is black.
The computer has an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti.
    Sorry for my English.

    Hi juan_masi,

By the looks of it, it appears that you do not have sufficient VRAM to render out the image. See if setting up 'Material Override'/disabling Displacement/lowering the output resolution helps things up. You can also check if rendering with CPU instead is possible (just for the sake of troubleshooting).

You can try to monitor your GPU usage while rendering to confirm if memory is the issue. Moreover, if you follow this link - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...+GPU+rendering you can find some neat steps to optimize your project for GPU rendering.

If you are still struggling, you can send us a project for investigation via our contact form - just make sure to mention this thread (or my name) in the form subject. Thanks!
