Since the new update i can`t render with my GPU anymore. I get the error that GPU light cache could not be initialized and also that the GPU could not be initialized for rendering. What is the problem?

This seems to be a memory issue, the scene cannot fit into the memory of your GPU. Did this scene render fine in 5.1 ?
There will be a hotfix soon, that will solve this issue hopefully, so if the scene rendered fine in 5.1 it should render in 5.2 as well

it is not a memory issue because I could render the exact same scene before. And I also tried rendering a simple scene with little geometry and it still doesn’t work.
please fix this soon. It doesn’t seem fair that I pay the annual license from which more than a week now I can’t use the program properly.Comment

Sorry to hear you are having issues with update 2, please use the contact form to submit the scene above, we are working on a hotfix that comes out next week. It should address many things related to memory and the new GPU Light Cache, I will test your scene to make sure it works with the fix
