Every time I press the render button - vfb ocio corrections are canceled and the srgb is shown
Also - have you seen how different the phoenix is in the gpu and cpu versions when raytraced gi is on ?

I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Devs are looking into the first issue as we speak, ID for this issue is VMAX-11309 ,I will update the thread when it is solved
It is not a new issue, it first appeared in update 1
About the second issue, please make a separate thread in the GPU section or Phoenix one, I will follow along with the Phoenix team to see what is going on
As a workaround you can get the same ACES sRGB look by using the filmic tonemap layer until this is fixed
You can get a similar look, I explain the workflow for this here
and again. back to sRGB D60. switching for a second to another ocio config file helps every now and then but I would at least expect some basic level of consistency from a bug.
Just leaving a note here for the Phoenix smoke and the Raytraced GI using V-Ray GPU if in the future anyone goes over this thread.
Currently the scattering bounces for the GI are limited internally when using V-Ray GPU. It is in the to do list to improve that and make it behave more like what you get with the CPU renders.
