  • VRAY GPU render not showing the background Vray Sky Environment

Hi Guys, I'm rendering to a png sequence and I can see my Environment background in the frame buffer, but my output PNG's have the background missing.
Any idea why this is happening?

    I have 3dsmax 2022 and
    Vray 5.0 / 2.3 GPU (latest)

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

If you save your png files with alpha channel Windows, Photoshop and similar programs with show the image with that alpha channel applied.
In Photoshop and Adobe products you can use this option to see the background: https://youtu.be/4ZiEht2bbkw?t=8

        Hi,

There is a way to disable alpha for png. Please see the attached screenshot:

        Hope this helps.

Thanks Martin, that's what I did, but I accessed it through the option at the top on the page where you save your file...
Seems theres a couple of ways to get to those settings

            Hi John,

It should work using both outputs. When you disable the alpha it will output a non-transparent png
