  • Incorrect rendering of tiles texutres on GPU

    Hello.
I need to render tiles texure on the floor. My tiles are 600x600 mm so to be able to use running bond tiles texure I used 1200x1200 mm size and used 2x2 tiles texture. For the gap (mortar) I need very thin line (4 mm) so I've entered 0.05 for the gap and everything rednered correctly on CPU but not on GPU (RTX/CUDA) - on GPU all mortar lines are gone unless I set like 0.1 for gap which is unacceptable.

    I've attached the test project.

    SketchUp 22.0.354 64-bit on Windows 11
    V-Ray 5.20.06
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with latest Studio drivers (on Game drivers the situation is the same)

    Dear michael_logutov, hello.

Thank you for providing us the test file.
The issue is easily reproducible within it and with V-Ray 6 too.
It is caused by the low value of Mortar Gap H / V.
With values lower than 0.09 the mortar lines started to disappear.

I will log this in our system for further investigation and future improvement.
Be sure that you will be informed by any progress.
For now I could recommend choosing 0.09 for Tiles Mortar Gap H / V (the value was set to 0.05).

    Best regards,
    TS
