A few weeks ago I noticed this problem but I haven't looked at it because I used the cpu for the last few projects. Now that I want to start a new project I did a simple test to see if thing are working as it should but somehow rendering a scene using the gpu is terribly slow on my system. No matter if I choose CUDA or RTX. Switching to cpu and the scene renders faster.
I am running :
- Vray 6 Update 1 (latest)
- 3Ds Max 2023.3
- Windows 11
- 2x RTX 3090 with driver 528.49 (I get a warning in the log about this but I don't think this is the issue since I also tried other drivers)
- AMD 7950x
- 128 GB ram
In the log I notice a message 'Failed setting device 0 context flags'
Could this have something to do with the slow render times?
I have attached the log screenshot and a simple max file
Re-installed the Nvidia drivers and Vray but no luck yet.
Are there any other ideas to fix this problem?
