  • OptiX error code 7900 when adjusting a material

I'm getting "OptiX error code 7900" errors in an interior scene I'm working on at the moment. This seems to happen when adjusting a particular material. What's could be causing this and how can I avoid it? Should I switch to CUDA? I can send the scene if needed.

Hi, could you send a simplified version of the scene that still reproduces the issue? Please include a link to this thread in your e-mail.

    Should I switch to CUDA?
Please try switching to CUDA and let us know if there is any change.

One other important thing is the graphics driver. Try the latest version from Nvidia and our recommended driver version.

Are you using IPR when the error starts to appear?

Yes, I always notice this happening when using IPR. I already use the recommended GPU driver. I will try to send you a scene which exhibits this behaviour.
