RTX 4080 slow render in RTX mode

Hi,
Just installed a new RTX 4080 card and after testing had some disappointing results. In CPU mode a test scene rendered in under 5 min, in GPU render took more than 40 min and it was still not clear. I heard that that might be a driver issue so last night I installed the latest driver on a clean install but got the same result. Anyone with the same card having the same problems and which driver to use

Hi, thanks for posting.
Please make sure your hardware is performing well. To do that you can use the V-Ray Benchmark Tool and compare with the average score for your video card.
Also please check the performance of your GPU hardware using a dedicated software to make sure there are no issues like for example overheating or not enough power supply.
Please complete these first steps and get back to the thread with the results (if possible use screengrabs).
