  • V-Ray GPU RTX mode with vDenoiser - light cache stops when rendering animated fbx files.

    Hi Guys,

I have a weird issue, light cache stops at around 8s when trying to render animated fbx/alembic file. It doesn't work in this configuration: Vray RTX with light cache and Vray denoiser, brute force works fine, CUDA also. btw. Motion Blur is on.
So I think the issue is related to denoiser.

Did anyone stumbled upon the same issue? any solutions?
    Thanks

I've narrowed it down to Motion Blur being enabled. Ive attached a simple file showing the issue.
    Any solution?
    Thanks

      Hi Chris,

We have replied to you on the ticket, but will also post it here.
The issue is reported to our bug tracker (VGPU-6215) for further investigation and resolution. The only workaround for now is to use CUDA.
      We will keep you posted.

        Hi Martin,
Thanks, would be great to even get a temp solution for RTX as its almost half the time to render compared to CUDA.
