  • Alpha is not 100% white

I noticed that the alpha on some renders are not 100% white. So when I use them as a mask in photoshop the background seems in slightly. Anyone else have this issue and what may be causing it?

See on the bottom left, the green and blue channels are not 1.0

    Thanks!

Hi, thanks for posting. What host application are you using (for example is it 3ds Max)? What is your V-Ray version? Can you share a bit more details about your scene and workflow? How is the alpha looking in a new simple scene?

3ds Max 2024 Latest version of V-Ray. Noticed in another scene though as well but will check others and let you know!

      Thanks for the quick reply

Hi, the Alpha values are correct in a simple scene with 3ds Max 2024, V-Ray 6.10.08 (latest official version).

There has to be something in your scene that is causing it deviate from the fully white values.
