  • Vdenoise bug with Chaos recommended Nvidia driver 561.09

When using Vdenoise with Nvidia and Temporal mode, its blending the first frame with the last frame on Chaos recommended Nvidia driver 561.09 and creating smudges.

It does not happen on the previous Chaos recommended Nvidia Driver 551.86 and all frames load properly into Chaos Player

On the latest Nvidia driver 566.14, it does not blend the first and last frame and does not cause the smudging but it does not name the first frame properly leaving out '_ocl' in the file name so you can't load the entire sequence like you can with driver 561.09 without renaming the first frame.

Thanks for the report. I did some testing and managed to see the "ghosting" you're talking about, both in 551.86 and 561.09, however. The latest Nvidia 566.14 Driver indeed works fine. Regarding the naming thing - all three drivers skip the "_ocl" part in the first frame on my end. Not sure if that depends on the driver, I'll need to ask around. For now, use 566.14.
