Merge Remder Settings - Rendering does not start

Hi,

I have SceneA.max. Just a tea pot and a light. Rendering and IPR are fine.

I make SceneB.max. Just two tea pots and a light. I merged "Render Settings" from SceneA.max with File>Import>Merge.



Render Settings will be the same as SceneA.max, of course. But Rendering and IPR doesn't start.

Reset from File menu, But GPU renderer dosn't start at all. Reset Settings also doesn't help. I have to reboot 3dsMax.

Share the scene files; open SceneB.max and merge the settings in SceneA.max. Does it work correctly?

We already have this one logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-10204). I'll add a bump on your behalf. I suggest you create a preset for the render settings to load, instead of using the one in the Merge option.

hermit.crab I tried to load a preset, but I can no longer stop the IPR. I have to shut down 3ds max. It doesn't seem to happen every time, but something is wrong.

I'll do the opposite and load the object.

No such issue on my end. Maybe it's a good idea to reset your 3ds Max preferences.
