V-Ray RTEngine DLL not found

We're having some difficulties getting V-Ray RT to work on one of our machines.

We have it work working fine on one, but another (almost identical setup) reports the error "V-Ray RTEngine DLL not found". I've looked in the help file which says this means there is a problem with the install, so I've completely re-installed it a number of times but keep getting the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Yep - typing in "set" and then running 3dsmax from the command line did the trick.
