When we have HDRI in the scene and try to use other servers for rendering for DR, the scene seems to look like attached image. Tried waiting for some time, but didn't help. Any ideas?

Are you sure that all the render slaves can access and load the HDR texture file?

Yup they can normally - all the textures are with UNC path on our server.
We narrowed down the problem to the fact that all the render slaves had the VrayRT render server started as service and in which case it stopped getting access to textures.
We will put it under Startup in to overcome this problem, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and is there a reason why Windows is denying access for system services?Comment
