  • Perspective views don't update in RT

    Hi all,

This may be a very simple issue, since I just installed RT and haven't really been vetted on it.

    I'm running RT SP1a with VRay 1.5 SP4a in Max 2010 64bit on Windows 7 64bit.

When I activated RT the first time I quickly noticed none of my perspective views caused it to update. I tried standard camera, vrayphysical camera, and perspective view. As soon as I make an orthographic viewport active, though, RT starts working perfectly, but renders the view in perspective.

As soon as I press P and make the ortho view perspective; RT stops updating. This seems sort of backwards from what the documentation says should be happening. Any ideas?

Do you have the camera locked to some view in the "Render Setup" dialog?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

I've tried both locked and unlocked. If its locked to a perspective viewport, nothing happens; if its locked to an ortho viewport, it works like I said.

I'm noticing that sometimes when I start it, it works normally (perspective views function, ortho views do not) and sometimes its backwards as I described. Whenever it starts backwards, restarting Max once or twice will usually get it back to normal.
