I've been doing some testing with vray rt as a production renderer and I've it seems that in cpu mode the camera clipping planes are respected but in gpu mode they are not.
This is coming into play with the scene I am testing with because I am creating a cg set of an enclosed space that needs to integrate with live action green screen footage that in effect was shot from a camera position outside the cg environment.
