  • RT GPU support for RGT Tint, Mix maps and map 'Output' setting?

    Hello,

I use all of the above to quickly adjust the color and brightness of materials inside 3DS max, but unfortunately it seems that none of them are currently supported by RT in openCL mode. So I'm left wondering two things, will they likely be supported in a future build, and are there other ways to quickly adjust maps within 3DS max (for color and brightness) that is supported by RT gpu, without needing to adjust maps in photoshop, and create dozens of versions of each map for every project and material application?

It is unfortunate because my #1 reason for upgrading to Vray 2.0 was to use RT GPU, and after weeks of trouble shooting and frustration, I'm realizing that I simply cannot use it in my production pipeline. Thanks in advance for any help or info!

I guess the same question goes for color correction and color correct.

As I mentioned in another thread, we are currently reworking our GPU texture pipeline so that we can implement procedural textures and full texture trees - when we do that, it will be a lot easier for us to implement these and other shading nodes. In the meantime, the CPU version supports all of these and more.

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
