  • Artifacts when motion blur is enabled

Just installed the latest version with motion blur and here's what I get with motion blur disabled:

Name:	MotionBlur_Off.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	390.6 KB
ID:	874239

Then when I enable motion blur I get this:

Name:	MotionBlur_On.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	368.5 KB
ID:	874240

Happens when RT is set for production and active shade. Same thing happens if I use OpenCL or CUDA options. The only time it works correctly (no artifacts) is when I use CPU mode.

    GPU hardware:
    Quadro 6000
    Tesla c2075 x2

    GPU Drivers: 296.70

I've verified the results on two different scenes and after a fresh restart of the workstation.

    Thoughts?

Hm, works fine for me in a similar scene (see attachment). Can you get me some parts of the scene so that I can check what's going on?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Actually, before we get to the scene, do you have a dome light in there?

      Vlado

Yes I do have a domelight with a HDR assigned (VRayHDR map). Is there a different method I should use?

That's the right method, but there's a bug with the dome light and motion blur. Will upload the fix on the site tomorrow.

          Best regards,

So this should be fixed now if you re-download the installation (V-Ray RT version should be 2.30.02).

              Best regards,

That indeed resolved the problem. Thanks.
