  • pure virtual function call in PRODUCTION MODE only

    hi,

    I have got a pure virtual function call error,
    when i'm rendering a scene using the production mode in cuda or openCL mode.,

    it works fine using the activechade mode under every type of render CPU, CUDA, AND OPENCL.

    I tried it both under 3dsmax 2012 64bits and 3dsmax2013 64 bits (vray 2.30.01).

    And I ve got the same error.

    any ideas?

    any help would be much appreciated

      -I'm working in activeshade mode and tweak my scene, do some test renders in active shade mode,
      - when I switch to production mode to render an animation and not a still,
      - hit render ....and when I'm having the error.

      new information:
      I just pass all my scene to a white material and do not have the error anymore.
      I will check every material to identify the one.
      but I saw that UVW Xform modifier animated wasn't take in count by vray, is it?

        I identify the object, which was the cause of my error, the one !

        I had export it re-import it, (do a test render with no crashes)
        then applied the material used before and had the error again !

        the material was made of an image sequence using a .ifl in both diffuse and bump slot.

        I replaced the image sequence by a unique map and it rolls !

        I tried to recreate the .IFL and had the error again.
