  • VrayMultiSubTex support?

    Hi, i've a problem with a material...
    It's a wood material with diffuse, reflect and bump maps. For by pass the not supported multitexture plugin i've used VrayMultiSubTex in any maps.
    The problem is between vrayrt and vray standard.
    If i Activate or deactivate bump map (VrayMultiSubTex with 15 normal bump) the result is respectively different or the same in the two renderer.
    I'm attaching some images for explain my problem...

    I think VrayMultiSubTex is supported because it works fine in diffuse and reflect maps..
    Any advice?

    Would it be possible to get us your scene to vray@chaosgroup.com ? This generally works fine for me in a simple test (for the CPU version anyways).

      I've made other test and finally...the problem seems Vray NormalMap

        No need for the scene, I can see the problem. Have you tried doing it the other way round, i.e. using just one Normal Bump map, and connecting the VRayMultiSub texture to that?

          Finally i've found right settings.
          Thanks Vlado, with your advice and with some adjustment i've found the solution.

          now it's ok, but remain the known issue about hdri gamma and multiplier correction...some news about the fix?
