  • RT Crashing with some materials

    Hey there,

Basically, I've got a scene that has been created with normal vray.
I tried to render anim it with RT GPU and the first frame works fine, at the second one, it crashes.

I tried to identify the problem, and it seems to be related with some materials. So now, I try to unhide object after object to see which one makes the problem.

I was just wondering in the mean time if those error messages where any relevant for anyone :

Is there any known materials that makes RT crashes? if so I can quickly see if there are here with zorb modifier script, and take them out.

    Thanks

All right, it seems it was a blend material based on a dirt that was in a multi-material that caused the crash.

    Not sure why...
Vlado, do you want that shader mlib to troubleshoot?

Yes, please send it to vray@chaosgroup.com; I suppose it's the dirt map but it would good to check anyways.

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
