My current hardware setup:- Ryzen 9 5900x CPU
- 128gb Vengeance RGB Pro RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 X2
- Windows 11 Pro

Also, in the nightly, I don't see MAX 2015. I installed a nightly for yesterday, which I thought was 2015, but I don't see it now.Bobby Parker

You have to see what are the errors in the VRay console. This console is running as a separate vray.exe process every time you start the RT engine.
Also, are you sure you have installed the correct version, it should be named something like /vray_adv_30008_max2015_x64_25280.rarV-Ray fan.

Okay, is it named vray_adv_25001_max2015_x64_25111.rar ?
If so, check the installed version and the console output for errors ... It will help us to track down the issue.
I am pretty sure we've added the Maxwell support a while ago. In the worst case, we still have not (I am not in the office right now and I can't check at the moment. If it is so, we will fix that asap).V-Ray fan.

Okay, it's not a nightly; it's a stable release. i'll try that one. However, wouldn't the nightly be newer and include the fix? Anyway, I guess I'll find out. Thanks for the help.

I had it as a service. I removed it as a service and launched it manually; it stopped crashing. I'll test it out this way and report back.

Did you try with one very simple scene ? Does it crashes again ? Maybe the crash is related to this specific scene.Bobby Parker

I've verified that it is working fine both in the nightly and in the stable.
You can't run any GPU application as a service - this limitation is not caused by V-Ray, it is just how GPUs and Windows work.
If you have any troubles, it would be best to provide the log from the V-Ray console itself (thus we can tell what is wrong easily).
Best,
Blago.V-Ray fan.

it's differently when I rotate my HDRI. The second I rotate, RT crashes. I have to rotate, crash, render, rotate, crash, render...Bobby Parker
